BANK HOLIDAY SATURDAY

Best laid plans have all gone up the swanny as I have woken today with a bad chest, cough and not a lot of voice left so I am feeling very sorry for myself. I was so looking forward to going to Rochester tomorrow to stay with Lynda and Matt and taking them round all my old haunts in Rochester from when I was a teenager and living there. So now on a lovely bank holiday weekend I am on my own indoors, well I will sit outside in the sunshine. The only person who is happy is the cat as she is curled up beside me enjoying the company.

I have found that as I get older I try far more beauty products from any price range to just see if they have any effect on the aging process. I dislike most the bags and darkness under my eyes and for the last couple of weeks I have been trying these.

Another bargain I have found was from the 99p shop here in the UK, these types of shops are very popular and there are many of them in every town. I found that after wearing socks and boots all winter my heels of my feet where a bit cracked so I tried the usual cracked heel cream but to no effect and then I saw these.

My feet are lovely and smooth all over, no cracked heels anymore or hard skin. I will be buying these again and would recommend them to everyone.

I really love this present I received from my friend Corinne the other day, thank you so much it looks lovely in my lounge.

  1. Here’s hoping you’re feeling so much better today and the voice is back in order. We don’t want to waste the sunshine just in case it’s a typical Bank Holiday Monday.

      • Thanks for the visit to my blog. We get more deaths on our roads here at this time than we do at christmas so never go out anywhere over this period. I hope your roads are better and not so many potholes. 🙂 I`m also a Grand parent , I think it`s that time of life for odd croaks and aches. 🙂

  2. Karen when I saw you likes on my comments I had to get over here and tell you that you look so much like my Aunt Sandee. She’s my favorite Aunt my Pa’s youngest sister. It is said that I look just like her. That is what struck me when I first saw you profile pic. Yay for Holidays! 🙂
