Keep positive I keep telling myself, you can do this. I think I am prepared and have lots of post it notes and flow charts all over the dining room table, that’s why my desk is looking so good! I know my characters very well so hopefully they will flow out and not change things as then I will be in a muddle.
Is there anybody in Kent, UK doing NaNoWriMo this year, or anyone that you know about? It would be good if I had a writing pal that was local. I have also thought that I may write in a coffee shop some days as I think it will break the monotony of sitting at my desk writing every day, in fact the worse bit is knowing I have to write every day or I will have to write even more the following day. In some ways I hope it rains all of November as then I won’t want to go out, sitting here typing looking out the window when the sun is shining is very hard as there is always something to potter about doing in the garden, or just sitting out there with a coffee as it is so secluded and a gorgeous hot spot even in the winter sun shine.
I have even set up on-line shopping at Tesco, I didn’t realise how easy it was as your club card knows what you buy so I just had to tick things in the favorite list. I think I will be doing that in future as sometimes I have to get one of the kids to help me get it from car to kitchen as I cannot carry heavy stuff.
All the Christmas presents I have got are all wrapped and in bags so no nosy little people can see any of the presents, actually the bigger children are worse that the toddlers. I have a few birthdays the week before Christmas so I need to get those organised as one of them is Kara’s 18th. I sometimes cannot believe where the years have gone, I can still remember the moment she was born, what an experience that was seeing your daughter give birth to a daughter.
It is a wonderful sunny autumn day here in Kent so the children will have fun at their Halloween parties and trick or treating tonight. Have a fun weekend everyone, see you tomorrow.
