I AM WRITING

Considering I have been in my pyjamas all day I appear to have written an awful lot, so all is good.  I saw a post about a competition where you had to write a short story about solstice but you had to be available in June to read it, if you were picked of course.  It was a date I could not commit to but a story was forming in my mind so I started to write it anyway and the more I wrote the more things were popping into my head so I had to hastily make notes before I forgot them.  I do have a few bits of paper scattered about on the bed but one good thing, I am warm which makes a change as sitting writing is the only time I get really cold and I mean very cold and it takes me ages to warm up.  Also no back ache, actually no pain at all, the other good thing is that now I have a Mac the battery lasts ages so no moving leads and plugging things in.

I have also had a few looks at Facebook so got myself some knew Kindle books, not that I needed any more but they were free and I could not resist them.  I did get a bit carried away though and clicked on one before I had read it properly and I had to pay for it, good job it was a box set as it was very expensive at £2.75 lol. I do like a bargain.

We have a site called Groupon here and their is 15% of local deals today so I have got myself a bargain afternoon tea at The Grand, I will be taking Jodie this time.  We will go after my birthday weekend in June, a nice start to the week.

What do you think of the picture?  I thought it was very apt considering the title of the book.

Have a great Saturday night and Sunday everyone.
