It is always nice to return home to your own bed and surroundings after being away but can the washing magicly do itself while in the case? I arrived home to sunshine so first load was out on line but then because it was a bank holiday weekend the rain made an appearance as always, Tuesday the sun was out. That then creates another job of finding a hedge cutter for your legs as they have not seen light for months, why do the hairs grow in the dark? The cat was pleased to see me and kept rubbing my arm as if to say please don’t go again which is nicer than when she ignores me and becomes deaf for a few days.
Everything appears to be very late growing in the garden this year as we have had no sunshine but they do say that it is going to be hotter here than Ibiza at the weekend! I am trying to stay positive about that but apps, newspapers and TV have yet to agree on what is happening with the weather, what a surprise.
Our throw away society appears to be getting worse but I almost cried when I saw an article from Apple saying that the Apple mac’s generally last about 4 years and iphones 2! Four years for something that cost hundreds of pounds and I am sure I read somewhere that they last far longer than a normal laptop. I just pray mine does last a good few years as I won’t be replacing it at those prices. Surely if you read that it would put you off buying one so why print scare stories, I have never understood some info companies give out.
The hoover is 3 years old and that is making it’s way to the bin as has lost its suck so it is being replaced with cheap and cheerful, then in a couple of years I will not mind putting it in the bin.
I did buy a new organiser for my desk so cleared it all off and sorted and then found I did not have as much to put in it, amazing how much ‘stuff’ you collect.
I also got some bits for my new dresser Corinne painted for me and am really pleased with the look now.
The sun is making an appearance now so all good here in Folkestone, have a super day everyone. x
