LUNCH AT THE PETER CUSHING IN WHITSTABLE, KENT

Here we are another month over, these lunches do seem to make the weeks go by very quick but it’s all good as I get to meet up with lots of great friends.  We celebrated Lynda’s birthday or Tiny as she is known to some, I just call her daft lol.  We got to Whitstable early so we could have a browse round the shops and pick up some bargains, which we did.  The sun was shining and all was good.

We met the others in a Wetherspoon pub called The Peter Cushing, as he used to live in Whitstable. There was nine of us but they did not have a round table so you end up not speaking to one end of the rectangle which is annoying, maybe we should have got up and changed seats half way through lunch.  The service was good in fact everything was brilliant so we would go there again as Whitstable is a lovely seaside town.

The food was great, the wine was super and the desserts were magnificent! What more could you want, the only thing that went wrong is that we all forgot to take pictures of the desserts, will try to do better next time.
