I would not say this was gripping at all, in fact some of it was very ‘bitty’ lots of things going on but not a clear picture. I did only give it three stars, the basic story is good I think it’s the way it is all put together that is lacking shape and formation.

A therapist moves into the upper class neighbourhood, then discovers the child or I should say teenager next door has a few problems resulting in extremely loud noises and play so the therapist cannot work from home. The neighbours are related, with some child abuse thrown in the mix as well. Then you get hate mail, the dead body and family traumas all coming out together.

I was so pleased when I had finished this as it really dragged on and got a bit boring.

I was sent this by Netgalley for an honest review so that’s what I have written but I do really hate not liking a book when I know the authors put their heart and soul into what they write.
