Why me? Sitting on my bed this morning chatting to my friend as she was taking a wardrobe apart, all of a sudden my back started hurting it then went to agony very quickly with hardly able to walk. So that is why I am now flat on my back in bed, the only way to get out is to roll out and very slowly pull myself up by holding onto headboard. Going to the loo is not easy and if my IBS plays up I’m in big trouble! lol. I shouldn’t make myself laugh it hurts.
I am about to start watching a series I recorded on the TV at least all the painkillers are helping just a bit. I have finished reading Theo and will do a review in the week. Not sure which book I should be reading next, I will have to look through blog posts. I was saying to Jodie that there are so many things that I cannot remember about when the children were small but I don’t think its just the distant pass, its recent things as well. It’s all a bit worrying I think, I should just stop thinking. At least I have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow as my bloods are still not right that’s three lots I have had done in the past couple of months and it’s not getting any better. You are supposed to only ask doctor about one thing, should I toss a coin LOL, I think it will be my back if I can get there.
I was having such a good weekend but that’s bloody normal something always happens if I am too happy. Reminds me of the time I was seeing a councillor, I said about things going wrong and happening and in the end she even agreed that I was the unluckiest person she had ever come across!
I hope you are all having a good weekend, children go back to school tomorrow, I think it is a short-term as half-term is the end of May. Looking forward to a bit of camping with the kids.
My world is very small at the moment but I can see out to the garden but then I see all the things that need to be done out there.
I have just started to read this by Amanda Prowse who I would class as one of my favourite authors. To inject emotion into a story is not an easy thing to do but Amanda does it in every book she writes, it’s as if she is writing from experience all the time.
Two love stories about a girl and a boy who have very different upbringings but are drawn to one another. Anna was beautifully written and made your heart ache for her, but now I am reading about Theo. This story draws you in from the first page so I do not think it will take me long to read.
If you join Goodreads they do giveaways all the time on hundreds of books so I often just have a look through the latest releases to see if there is anything I fancy and every so often I am lucky, well about three times actually but that is still three free books. This is my latest one that I have just been notified about. I will be reading this after my Netgalley books.
I have got a bit of a list at the moment as a few books have been released so I think I will read in this order.
Reading this one now
Been waiting to read this for ages
Love this author
My free book
This sounds very good
I am so looking forward to reading all of these as I am so sure they are going to be superb. My favourite authors, good reviews and recommendations. The reviews will go out on publishing day for some of these but I will let you know.
Do you do your reading in bed? It’s so comfy snuggling down with a good book I just have to make sure I don’t fall asleep and drop my Kindle, yes I have done that a few times so now I try to remember to lay in the middle of the bed so it does not land on floor.
This was a free book on Amazon a while ago so thought I would start on my free books. I didn’t realise it was the first in a series but it was good so I will look out for the next one. This is about a FBI agent who crashes her car and loses her memory so as she is trying to work out who she is, her job carries on with her doing things automatically. Her two children seem to spend more time with the nanny and her husband seems a bit distant. While all this is going on, is there someone out to kill her as a few things are happening to her. Then there is the two men that have been murdered in a rather horrible way and is there a connection to the artifacts stolen from a museum. Sounds like a lot going on but it all works really well in the story. I really liked that there was a twist at the end as that makes the lead on to the next book very interesting. Good police drama with a family life wrapped around it.
