I have just started to read this by Amanda Prowse who I would class as one of my favourite authors. To inject emotion into a story is not an easy thing to do but Amanda does it in every book she writes, it’s as if she is writing from experience all the time.
Two love stories about a girl and a boy who have very different upbringings but are drawn to one another. Anna was beautifully written and made your heart ache for her, but now I am reading about Theo. This story draws you in from the first page so I do not think it will take me long to read.
Amanda Prowse has done it again and in spectacular fashion, this is her best book so far, I had to put the so far as she just excels every time she puts the pen to paper. This story will make you go through every emotion as they jump out at you from the pages. It is so well written that when the character Anna laughs, you laugh too! Best that you read this alone as you will get some funny looks on the bus laughing then have tears running down your face, we do not want passengers thinking you are weird! (After reading you will get that.)
Anna, the character that you will fall in love with as she is full of loveliness on the outside and inside. Love hurts but can it destroy? From a children’s home to a high-class pad in London but all you see is the goodness of Anna rising above everything that is thrown at her.
I read this in a few hours as you just cannot put it down, some things hard to understand in such a cruel world but that is what makes this story amazing. You cannot fail to love it.
Does true love conquer all? You will have to wait and read all about Theo’s story, out soon.
This is a bit different from her usual stories but still enjoyable, by starting of with a death the lives of this family can only get better, even though they lose everything that they think is dear to them. It shows that good things can come from bad things happening to you. How you deal with life experiences make you into the person you become and sometimes we are taken of track which this story shows superbly. Recovery and healing take time but this family do it all eventually and all become the better for it.
This very talented, amazing lady is one of my favourite authors with another best seller I am amazed at how quick she turns these novels out.
Amanda Prowse does it again, I believe this is one of the best books I have read, very emotional as it is drawn from real feelings and actions. I am sure Amanda Prowse wept a few tears herself when writing this amazing story.
After finding your true soul mate at the age of 40 you think you have it all and having a baby is the last event you have been dreaming of for years. But it is not that easy and the grief this couple go through is not only emotional but it starts to affect their lives, not only as a couple but the close family as well. Then when her husbands teenager daughter comes to stay it brings a lot more secrets and feelings to the surface. Can they recover from this?
Following the life of this couple Jonah and Lucy and I must say that the ending is not what you expect but still heart warming.
I don’t like to say too much about the book as you have to read it to really appreciate it, but I can say that this is another best seller for Amanda and a good 10 stars from me. Order your copy today from Amazon.
I have recently received a signed copy of Amanda Prowse new book called: The idea of you, so I can do a review on publishing day. Well what can I say, this is definitely her best book so far, you go through just about every emotion reading it also having some surprise elements. You can tell that this story was written from the heart as the detail and feelings will crush your heart.
I think it is amazing how Amanda keeps churning out these best sellers and so quickly, let’s hope there are many more to come.
